I lost Vicki in mid October and a short while after
I lost my Cockatiel. Had the Cockatiel for a while, over
10 years.   I guess Vicki and Myself were going together
about 4 years.  She came to visit me when I was in the
hospital. So, kind.  She took care of my cat "Pesto"

Things are getting out of hand again.  I don't have
Vicki to help me. There's so much going on.  I'll be
Frank with you, No I'm Marc not Frank.  Well, anyway.
When tying your shoes is the low-point of the day.
You would think I might get the hint and make an effort
to curb my hunger.

Now even with diabetes I can get to feeling pretty
awe-full!  I don't want to use subcutaneous insulin just
because of the fact that syringes are icky and should
stay at the doctors office, or the hospital.

Hey, I saw the doctor Friday. He gave me a flu shot,
and I still have blood samples to do, I just can't seem
to fast for 12 hours. Back in the hospital they were
denying me food cause well, Appendicitis, you know.
No food, this regimen went on for days, finally they
were moistening my lips from a cool rag, eventually a
little ice water.  Then bullion and tea, but the bullion
was terrible and I relished the tea.

I picked up a book at Barnes n' Noble.  Trying to
get educated in this world is a costly enterprise.  I
read for hours and hours every day, I read about
tinkering and puttering around. Lately I've been
trying to teach myself JavaScript. This book i got
today is called, "JavaScript: The Good Parts" by
Douglas Crockford. Published by O'Reilly!  What
really has me stumped right now is if/else and
functions.  These are like the foundation of
understanding that the rest of the pieces balance
on. So, I want to drill if/else and functions until I
get it, then I'm going to push harder.

Oh YEAH!!!

Merry Merry People, May your special someone meet
you under the mistletoe.

Greetings from the edge.

Greetings from the edge... Santa Rosa,
that is.

You haven't missed much.  Big turnover
in the building lately, lots of people
coming and going.

I still haven't got the 2nd bird, I still haven't
had the Bicycle repaired.  I still haven't
finished my coding tutorial.

I'm a joke, I never finish what I start, thank
goodness for Amateur Radio, I would have
no contact with the outside world without
it.  That's a whole lot of "I"s...

Vicki is still helping her mom and I miss
her a lot. I like following John H's blog
now there's a character for ya. He's out
mucking up the trails in the deepest part
of winter. Kinda look up to him, he's great.

Well, I have to run to the john, so hang in
there readers, and we'll see about getting
a little more content on these pages.
Until then, shalom.

The Day After Valentine's Day

Today I found out how to upgrade to
Windows 8 if you only have Windows
7.  I forwarded the message to Alan.

I borrowed a filter full of coffee from
Alan.  Brewed it up and drank it over
ice.  Made 2 large cups.  Just finished
a tuna sandwich.  Have a hankering
for Kimchee and Zatarain's Jambalaya.

I added a few twigs to Burdy Bird's
hovel.  Now he doesn't have to sit in
exactly the same spot day in and day
out.  I'm toying with the idea of
getting another Tiel. They are such
beautiful birds.

I think i'm going to cook some
Zaterain's right now.

Try.  http://www.boingboing.com

Valentine's Day 2013

Hi there,

Valentine's Day.  I got off squeaky clean
this time.  Vicki is taking care of her mom.
I think her mom dislocated her shoulder.
I guess when she comes back I'll get her
some See's Candies.

I have a desire to escape.  The only thing
that I can think of is camping.  I have some
padding, and a sleeping bag.  I have a
small tent that fits 2 people.  I wonder
what kind of food to bring.

Anyway, I'm all out of ideas. I'll pick this
up tomorrow.

Happy Valentine's Day, hope everyone is
well and joyful.
